Federal Judge Dismisses Parks-Miller’s Law Suit Describing It As Inartful and Vitriolic

Today a Federal Judge summarily dismissed District Attorney Parks-Miller's lawsuit against State College lawyer Bernard Cantorna and Bryant & Cantorna.  In a 30 page opinion the court noted that nothing Attorney Cantorna said was untrue, nor did it have a defamatory connotation.  U.S. Judge Matthew Brann denied Parks-Miller the opportunity to amend her complaint holding that a speedy resolution of the charged dispute was both efficient and proper.   Judge Brann wrote that no person should be forced to endure the looming spectre of these charges, especially when they are judged deficient by a federal tribunal.  Accordingly all charges against Attorney...

Centre County Jury Verdict of $83,000 For Mount Nittany Hospital’s Medical Malpractice

State College Lawyer Bernard Cantorna filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Mount Nittany Medical Center alleging that the emergency room failed to diagnose his client's spinal cord injury.  Instead the suit alleged that the client was diagnosed with a sprained wrist and told to ice her injury.  The client traveled to George Washington University 10 days later where her spinal cord injury was diagnosed and treated.  The suit alleged that the delay in diagnosis and treatment cause the client further injury.  On March 23, 2016 a Centre County Jury agreed and entered judgment against the hospital.  "The jury's verdict in this medical...

April 12, 2007 Williamsport, PA R. Smith from State College sued the driver of the vehicle who had run a red light at the intersection of Park Avenue and Hospital Drive on July 29, 2004. R.
