Founding Attorney

James N. Bryant

James N. Bryant is a trial attorney with almost five decades of experience in diverse legal issues. He is a member of the Centre County Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar, American Trial Lawyers, and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers.

A 1963 graduate of State College High School, Jim received his B.S. in history and zoology from Juniata College in 1967; he received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970. While at Penn he was the chairman of the Prison Research Council, an organization that offered legal assistance to inmates. Following law school he joined the staff of Arlen Spector, then District Attorney of Philadelphia, and worked in the Homicide and Major Trials unit.

Because of his rural upbringing, Jim gravitated to central Pennsylvania where, in 1975, he set up his general law practice in Millheim. Fifty- years later, his love of law continues to be his driving force. Beyond his law practice, he is dedicated to the community that has supported his career and has actively organized and participated in many local charitable events.

Jim has three daughters and four grandchildren scattered up and down the eastern seaboard. Today he enjoys participating in sporting clays, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and attending public auctions where he replenishes the décor of his 1817 farmhouse, affectionately known as “Hodgepodge Lodge.”

our testimonials

“I had Mr. Bryant for my custody conference. He worked with the other parties attorney to get what was in the best interest of the children, even though the other party was not listening to his councel. I would highly recommend Mr Bryant and I know he will be who I will call if I ever again need representation. Thank you, Mr Bryant!”
